Angle of incidence and reflection (dinner plate and ping pong ball )

The law of angle of incidence and reflection also seems to work for items, not only light beams. Think of how pool or snooker balls (no effect) bounce after hitting the side. In this situation the course of light is not affected by gravity where the trajectory of a ping pong ball is. The clever boy in the video makes use of both gravity and the angle of incidence. (and of course a lot of trial and error)
