Dropping hammer and feather on the moon: Nasa Apollo 15 mission (LM Falcon)

Hammer and feather are being dropped during the Apollo 15 mission in July / August 1971. The feather is a falcon feather, appropriately chosen as the name of the Lunar Module also was Falcon.

Video shows the drop in the atmosphere absence of the moon, verifying the prediction of Galileo Gallilei.

What we don’t see is what happens with the hammer and feather after wards.

Fellows! Clean up your garbage!
